Roadies is a very popular reality show of India. The international franchise of Roadies has come to Nepal. It is one of the most watched reality shows of India. The name of the international show in Nepal is given the name Himalaya Roadies. The show is aired by Himalaya Television. The director of the show is Aman Pratap Adhikari. In the show, the participated contestants would be taken to different places and they have to perform in various tasks that challenge or test their mental and physical abilities. The show will have vote outs, vote ins, eliminations and different game changing twists. The contestant who manages to survive till the last challenge will be chosen as the winner of Himalaya Roadies. The judges of Himalaya Roadies are Diya Maskey, Raymond Das Shrestha and Aasis Rana (Laure). The audition was held in the 4 cities of Nepal. They were Pokhara, Butwal, Dharan and Kathmandu. The winner of the show will get a cash prize of 2 million and a motorcycle. In an interview with Mero Online TV, Aman Pratap Adhikari, director of Himalaya Roadies told that the first season of Himalayan series has followed the pattern of 6, 7 and 8 season of MTV Roadies. Diya Maskey also told that she addresses the contestants with the Nepali word “Ta” because it was the format of the show and she also told that the word “Ta” is a Nepali word and there is no wrong in using the word.
