नरोपीकनै आलु उत्पादन हुन्छ। सुन्दै अचम्म लागे पनि जिल्लाका दुर्गम गाउँहरूमा नरोपीकनै बारीमा आलु उम्रिने गरेको छ। त्यो पनि कहिलेकाहीं होइन वर्षौंपहिलेदेखि निरन्तर। यसरी फल्ने आलुको बजारमा माग पनि उत्तिकै बढ्दो छ। जिल्लाका दुर्गम गाउँहरू अर्खाबाङ्ग, हाङ्दी, दर्लिङ्ग, मलायागिरी, म्यालपोखरी, अग्लुङ्ग लगायत किसानका बारीमा वर्षौंदेखि नरोपीकनै उत्पादन हँुदै आएको छ। आलु खन्ने बेला बारीमै छाडिने पुरानो आलु उम्रने र फल्ने गरेको हो। वर्षातको समयमा सवारी साधनसमेत नपुग्ने गाउँका अधिकांशको आम्दानीको स्रोत पुरानो बिउबाटै फल्ने आलु हो। - उचाइमा रहेको जमिनमा बारीमै छाडिएका पुरानो बिउबाट फल्ने गरेको आलु अन्यत्रको भन्दा स्वादिलो पनि छ। बाबुबाजेका पालामा बारीमा रोपिएको आलु अहिलेसम्म पनि निरन्तर फल्दै आएको अर्खबाङका लक्ष्मणप्रसाद अर्यालले बताए। उनले भने, ‘प्राय: फागुनमा आफैं उम्रने आलु साउनको अन्तिम सातातिरबाट खन्न सुरु गर्छौं।’ खन्ने क्रममा बारीमा छाडिएका आलु बिउको रूपमा रहन्छ। फागुनमा मकै रोप्न बारी जोतेपछि पुन: उम्रन सुरु हुन्छ। ‘हाम्रो यो चलन धेरै पुरानो हो,’ उनले भने, ‘मैले जान्दादेखि नै गाउँमा कसैले पनि आलु रोप्ने गरेका छैनन् तर, बारीमा फलेकै छ।’ स्थानीय किसानको अनुभवमा मलिलो र खुकुलो माटो भएकोले बारीमै छाडिएको आलु त्यसरी उम्रने र फल्ने गरेको हो। गाउँका तीन सयजना हाराहारी किसानले यस्तो आलु उत्पादन गरेर बेच्दै आएको अर्खाबाङ ९ का छविलाल भट्टराईले बताए। ‘हाम्रा पुर्खाहरूले नै रोपेको आलु हो,’ उनले भने, ‘पुरानो बिउ र उच्च पहाडी क्षेत्र भएकाले पनि यहाँको आलु धेरैले मन पराउने गरेका छन्।’ नरोपी मकै लगाएकै बारीमा फल्ने आलु बेचेर किसानले कम्तीमा २५ देखि ५० हजार रुपैयाँसम्म आम्दानी गर्ने गरेको उनले बताए। ‘आजभोलि त बजारमा पुग्नै छोड्यो’, उनले भने, ‘माग बढ्दो छ।’ उनका अनुसार गाउँबाट प्रतिकिलो ३५ रुपैयाँ र बजारमा आएपछि ५० देखि ६० रुपैयाँसम्ममा आलु बिक्री हुने गरेको छ। आलुखेतीको चलन पुरानो भए पनि सबैले आलुसँगै मकै लगाउने गरेको अर्खाबाङ ६ का रेशमबहादुर घर्तीले बताए। मलिलो माटो भएकाले आलु र मकै राम्रै फल्ने गरेको छ। ‘एकैपटकमा दुई खेती गर्दा कहिलेकाहीं आलुमा रोग लाग्ने गरेको छ,’ उनले भने, ‘त्यसको पनि हामी किसानले घरेलु प्रविधिबाटै उपचार गर्ने गरेका छौं।’ g - आलुखेतीबाटै खर्च चलाउँदै आएका बाँझकटेरी १ का बृजबहादुर खत्रीले अन्य आलुको तुलनामा पुरानो र मकैभित्र फल्ने आलु धेरैले स्वादिलो मान्ने बताए। ‘हाम्रो त खान्की नै यही हो,’ उनले भने, ‘बाबु बाजेको उपहार भएकाले मकैभन्दा आलु खेतीलाई नै बढी प्राथमिकता दिन्छौं।’ खाद्यान्न अभाव हुने यस क्षेत्रका बासिन्दाले वर्षातको समयमा बढी आलु खाने गर्दछन्। ‘बजार पठाउँदा प्रतिकिलो ५० रुपैयाँमा बिक्छ,’ उनले भने, ‘त्यसले गाउँलेलाई चामल किन्न सजिलो हुन थालेको छ।’ गाउँलेहरूले २/३ वर्ष यतामात्रै बजारमा लगेर आलु बेच्न थालेका हुन्। वर्षमा ३ देखि ५ क्विन्टलसम्म बेच्न पाइने आलु रोप्नै नपर्नु अचम्म लाग्ने बाँझकटेरीकै सरस्वती श्रीसले बताइन्। उनले भनिन्, ‘बिहे भएर यहाँ आएदेखि मलाई यो आलु फल्ने तरिका अचम्म लागिरहन्छ।’ कृषि विकास कार्यालयका वरिष्ठ कृषि विकास अधिकृत चेतनाथ अधिकारीले पश्चिमी गाउँहरूमा पुस्तौंपुस्तादेखिको आलु नरोपी फल्ने चलन अनौठो भएको बताए। ‘मैले पनि गाउँमै पुगेर सबै निरीक्षण गरें,’ उनले भने, ‘स्थानीय जातको आलु पुस्तौंपुस्तादेखि फल्दै आएको रहेछ।’ खुकुलो र मलिलो माटोसँगै वातावरणअनुकूल भएकाले बिउ बारीमै रहने र त्यहीँ उम्रँदै फल्दै गर्ने क्रम चल्दै आएको पाइएको उनले बताए। ‘उत्पादन पनि राम्रो छ,’ उनले भने, ‘स्वादिलो भएकाले बेच्न बजार ल्याउनै नपर्नेगरप् गाउँमै मारामार हुँदो रहेछ।’ -

पोखरा,२९ जेठ। विद्यालयमा विद्यार्थी शिक्षक द्वारा कुटिने घटना अब नौलो रहेन त्यस्तै भयो पोखरामा एक विद्यार्थी आफ्नै स्कुलका प्रिन्सिपलबाट निर्घात कुटिएका छन् । पोखरा लेखनाथ महानगरपालिका वडा नम्बर ३३ स्थित मर्निङ ग्लोरी स्कुलमा कक्षा १ मा अध्ययनरत सुवास लामिछाने सोही स्कुलका प्रिन्सिपल शिवदत्त तिवारीबाट कुटिएका हुन् । S प्रिन्सिपल तिवारीको कुटाईबाट अन्दाजी ६ वर्षीय बालक लामिछानेको ढाडभरी निलडाम बसेको छ । लामिछानेलाई प्रिन्सिपल तिवारीले गृहकार्य नगरेको भन्दै कुटपीट गरेको पीडित विद्यार्थीका आफन्तले बताएका छन् । उनको नमस्ते अस्पताल पोखरामा उपचार गरिएको छ । श्रोतका अनुसार जेठ २८ गते आइतबार सुवास गृहकार्य नगरी स्कुल गएका थिए । स्कुलमा कक्षा शिक्षिकाले सुवासले गृहकार्य नगरेको देखेपछि प्रिन्सिपल तिवारीलाई बोलाइन् । तिवारी आएर गृहकार्य किन नगरेको भन्दै निर्घात कुटपिट गरेको सुवासले बताएको उनका आफन्तले बताए । लगत्तै आफन्तले स्कुल र वडा कार्यालयमा जानकारी गराएको र वडाध्यक्ष शिवप्रसाद आचार्यले बोलाएर सोध्दा प्रिन्सिपल तिवारीले आफूबाट गल्ती भएको भन्दै माफी मागेको आफन्तले बताएका छन् । प्रिन्सिपल तिवारीलई गल्ती नदोहोर्‍याउने बाचासहितको कागज गराएर छाडिएको छ । तर प्रिन्सिपल तिवारीले भने सुवासलाई आफूले निर्घात कुटपिट गरेको नभई ढाडमा सामान्य ढंगले हिर्काएको जिकिर गरेका छन् । उनले घरमा लडेर सुवासलाई चोट लागेको हुनसक्ने बताए । तर सुवासको निलडाम हेर्दासुम्ला बस्नेगरी लठ्ठिले पिटेको जस्तो देखिन्छ । यसैबीच, अखिल नेपाल राष्ट्रिय स्वतन्त्र विद्यार्थी युनियन क्षेत्रीय कमिटी क्षेत्र नम्बर ३ कास्कीले प्रेस विज्ञप्ती जारी गर्दै घटनामा दोषिलाई कारवाहीको माग गरेको छ ।

श्रीमानलाई सर्पले टोके लगत्तै आफ्नै श्रीमतीलाई पनि श्रीमानले टोकी मारे अनि आफु पनि मरे

सर्पको टोकाईपछि एक व्यक्तिले सँगै बाँच्ने सँगै मर्ने इच्छा भएको भन्दै श्रीमतीलाई टोकेका छन् । श्रीमतीलाई डाक्टरले बचाएका छन् भने श्रीमानको ज्यान गएको छ । भारत पटनाबाट झण्डै ९० किलोमिटर उत्तर समस्तीपुर जिल्ला वीरसिंहपुर गाउँका शंकर राईलाई गएको शनिबार राति सुतिरहेका बेला सर्पले टोकेको थियो । बिहान उठ्दा उनले आफूलाई सर्पले टोकेको थाहा पाएका थिए । आफू धेरै नबाँच्ने थाहा पाएर निकै भावुक भएका उनले हतारिँदै श्रीमती भएठाउँ गई उनको हातमा टोकेका थिए । उनले श्रीमती अमिरी देवीलाई आफूलाई निकै माया लाग्ने र सँगै मर्ने भन्दै हातमा टोकेका थिए । त्यसलगत्तै उनी अचेत भए । त्यसपछि अस्पताल पुर्‍याइएका उनीहरुमध्ये श्रीमानको ज्यान गयो । श्रीमतीको भने समयमै उपचार पाएकाले ज्यान जोगियो । स्थानीय अस्पतालका डाक्टर जयकान्तले श्रीमती अमिरीको अवस्था अहिले सामान्य भएको बताउनुभएको छ । अमिरीले श्रीमानले आफूलाई निकै माया गर्ने भन्दै हातमा टोक्न लागेको र आफूले पनि केही नभनी टोक्न दिएको बताउनुभएको छ । तर श्रीमान शंकरको इच्छा भने पूरा भएन । -

मर्नुभन्दा पहिला यी नाबालिकाले सुनाइन् अन्तिम इच्छा, बाबुआमाले आँसु थाम्नै सकेनन्

एजेन्सी । एक बालिकाले आफ्नो मृत्यु देखेर नै अन्तिम इच्छा परिवारलाई सुनाएकी छिन् । तर, नभन्दै ती ७ वर्षकी नाबालिकाको टाइफाइडका कारण ज्यान गयो । मर्नुभन्दा पहिला यी बालिकाले दुई जनाको अध्यारो जि़न्दगीमा खुसी ल्याएकी थिईन् । खबर अनुसार कृष्णबाग कलोनी निवासी सांईनाथ वाडेकरकी छोरी भाव्यालाई टाइफाइड रोग लाग्यो । भाव्याको उपचार थुप्रै अस्पतालमा गरियो तर कुनै फरक आएन् । अन्ततः टाइफाइडका कारण शुक्रबार भाव्याको मृत्यु भयो - पत्रकारहरुसँग कुराकानी गर्दै बालिकाका पिता सांईनाथ वाडेकरले भाव्यालाई टाइफाइड भएको भएको बताए । उपचारका लागि उनलाई भवन अस्पतालमा भर्ना गरिएको थियो । स्वास्थ्यमा केही सुधार आएपछि दुई दिन पहिला बुधबार उनलाई अस्पतालले छुट्टी दिएको थियो । एक दिन बेलुका अचानक भाव्याको स्वास्थ्य अवस्था विग्रियो । त्यसपछि दोस्रो पटक जब भाव्यालाई उपचारका लागि अस्पताल लगियो । उपचारका लागि अस्पताल जाँदै गर्दा बाटोमा उनले आफ्ना बुवालाई भनेकी थिईन-‘बाबा यदि म यो संसारमा रहिन भने मेरा आँखा दान गरिदिनु ।’ उनले आफ्ना बाबुलाई आफ्नो यो सपना अनिवार्य पूरा गर्न आग्रह गरिन् । बावु वाडेकरले छोरीको कुरा सुनेर आँसु थाम्न सकेनन् । र छोरीलाई अंगालो हाल्दै त्यस्तो कुरा नगर भन्दै सम्झाए । वाडेकरका अनुसार भाव्यालाई जब अस्पतालमा लगेर उपचार थालियो तब डाक्टरले धेरै कोशिश गरे तर, उनलाई बचाउन सकिएन् । वाडेकरलाई छोरीको मृत्यु खबर डाक्टरले सुनाएपछि उनले तुरुन्त उनको आँखा कुनै अन्धो मान्छेलाई दान गर्ने फैसला गरे । भाव्याको आँखा अब दुई जना अन्धा मानिसलाई दिने तयारी अस्पतालले गरेको छ । सोमबार भाव्याका आँखा दुई जनालाई दान गर्न अप्रेशन गरिँदैछ । मरेर पनि अब भाव्याले आफ्ना आँखाबाट संसार देख्न पाउनेछिन् । -

Life was returning to near normalcy in West Bengal’s troubled Darjeeling hills as no fresh violence was reported on Sunday, but uncertainty prevailed ahead of beginning of the Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GJM)-called indefinite shutdown. Countering the Gorkha Janmukti Morcha’s (GJM) call for indefinite shutdown in the hills, the West Bengal government on Sunday issued an order that all its offices will remain open in Darjeeling and Kalimpong and also made it mandatory for employees to attend work. “In view of the call given by Gorkha Janmukti Morcha for indefinite bandh/strike on and from 12 June, 2017, it has been decided that all state government offices situated in the District of Darjeeling and Kalimpong, including those provided with grants-in-aid by the state government, would remain open and all the employees of those offices should report for duty on each day till the call for such bandh is not withdrawn.” “It has also been decided that no leave shall be granted to any employee on any of these bandh days,” said a state government release. काठमाडौं,२९ जेष्ठ । प्रधानमन्त्रीबाट स्वयच्छिक राजिना दिएर करिब १० महिनापछि आफ्नो निवास फर्किएका माओवादी केन्द्रका अध्यक्ष पुष्पकमल दाहाल निवास लाजिम्पाटमा बुधबार निकै ताम झाम थियो । माओवादी हेडक्वाटर बैठक, प्रधानमन्त्री शेरबहादुर देउवाको आगमन, पार्टी प्रवेश कार्यक्रम जस्ता कार्यक्रमको चापाचाप थियो । प्रधानमन्त्री शेरबहादुर देउवा प्रचण्ड निवास छिर्नुभन्दा ठीक एक घण्टाअघि पार्टी प्रवेश कार्यक्रम थियो । कुनै समय दलित जनजाती पार्टीको रुपमा स्थापित बहुजन शक्ति पार्टीका पदाधिकारी सहित केही केन्द्रीय सदस्यहरु माओवादी केन्द्रमा समाहित हुँदै थिए । बरिष्ठ उपाध्यक्ष राधेश्याम पासवान, उपाध्यक्ष गोविन्द नेपालीसँगै पार्टीका महासचिव पनि थिए मेखराज परियार । परियार त्यस्ता विवादीत व्यक्ति थिए जसले आफ्नै ८ महिना गर्भवति श्रीमतिको विचल्ली पारेर आफूभन्दा आधा उमेरकी एक महिला लिएर फरार भएका थिए । श्रीमानले विचल्ली पारेपछि उनकी श्रीमती सिता परियारले बानेश्वर स्थित प्रहरी कार्यालयमा उजुरी समेत दिएकी थिइन् । प्रहरीले बहुविवाहमा मुद्दा चलाउने तयारी समेत गरेको थियो । तर, राजनीतिक दबावपछि उनी छुटेका थिए । बहुजन शक्ति पार्टीका अध्यक्ष विश्वेन्द्र पासवानले यसअघि नै महासचिव मेखराजलाई पार्टीबाट निष्काशन गरेको बताएका थिए । तर, उनले यस्तो दाबी गरेपनि परियार भने पार्टी महासचिवको हैसियतमा माओवादी केन्द्रमा सामेल भएका छन् ।माओवादी केन्द्रमा उनलाई प्रवेश गराइएपछि सामाजिक सञ्जालमा माओवादी कार्यकर्ताले नै विरोध गरेका छन् ।

१२ वर्षीय बच्चीले आफ्नै आमाको ‘डेलिभरी’गराएर बनिन हिरो,जन्मियो भाई

काठमाडौँ । अमेरिकाको मिसिसिपी प्रान्तको ज्याक्सन सहरकी एक १२ वर्षीया बच्चीले आफ्नै आमाको ‘डेलिभरी’ गराएपछि संसारभर चर्चा फैलिएको छ । अपरेसन थिएटरमै गएर आमाको डेलिभरीका सक्रिय हुने बच्ची हुन्, जेसी डेल्लेपेना । जेसी यो कुरालाई लिएर उदास थिइन् कि आमाको प्रसव पीडाका क्रममा उनी आफ्नो कम उमेरका कारण भाइको जन्म हेर्न नपाउने अवस्थामा थिइन् । उनको उदासिनता देखेर डाक्टरले अपरेसन थिएटरमा जान स्वीकृति दिए । थिएटरमा पुगेपछि यति मात्रै भएन, जेसीले डाक्टरको निगरानीमा आफ्नो भाइको जन्म गराइन् र नालसमेत आफैँले काटिन् । ‘मलाई रुन मन लाग्यो, किनभने मलाई लाग्यो कि आफ्नो कम उमेरकै कारण आफ्नो भाइ जन्मिएको हेर्न नपाउने भएँ,’ जेसीले डब्ल्युबी टिभीलाई भनेकी छिन्, ‘तर, डाक्टरले मलाई भाइ बाहिर निकाल्ने मौका दिए । म निकै उत्साहित भएँ । मैले यसअघि पनि डाक्टर बन्ने नक्कल गरिसकेकी थिएँ, तर यसपटक साँच्चिकै गरेँ ।’ जेसीका नवजात भाइ स्वस्थ छन्, र उसको तौल ३ दशमलव ३ किलोग्राम छ । जेसीको भावनाले उनका अभिभावकलाई पनि भावुक बनायो । आमा डेडेले भनेकी छिन्, ‘छोरीको भावना देखेर आँखाबाट आँसु आयो ।’

जाजरकोट, २९ जेठ । त्रिवेणी नलगाड नगरपालिका–४, प्यारगाराकी सुशीला सार्कीलाई एक गाग्री पानी ल्याउन दैनिक छ घन्टाको समय खर्चनुपर्छ । घर नजिक पानीको सुविधा नहुँदा सुशीला मात्र हैन प्यारगाराका ३० घरपरिवारलाई तीन घन्टा टाढाको नाउलोबाट पिउने पानी ओसार्नुपर्ने बाध्यता छ । प्यारगाराका ३० घरपरिवारका पशुचौपायालगायतको पनि एकमात्र पानीको स्रोत हो, छिपछिपे मूलको नाउलो । यसमा पानीको स्रोत कम हुँदा गाग्री लिएर पुग्नेबित्तिकै पानी भर्न पाइँदैन । पालो कुरेर पानी भर्नुपर्दा समय बढी लाग्ने गरेको छ । -गाउँ नजिक पानीको कुनै स्रोत छैन । दुई घन्टा लगाएर पानी ल्याउनुपर्छ, पानी ओसार्दै दिन बित्छ । ५० वर्ष अघिदेखि पिउने पानीका लागि दुःख पाउँदै आएका छौँ,” स्थानीय तिलबहादुर सार्कीले भन्नुभयो, “पिउने पानीका लागि कुनै नेता र सङ्घसंस्थाले वास्ता गरेका छैनन् ।” यही नाउलोको पानी पनि कसले पहिला भर्ने भन्ने तछाडमछाड हुने गरेको उहाँले बताउनुभयो । पशु चौपाया र जङ्गली जनावरले पनि यही नाउलामै पिउने गर्दा पानी दूषित हुने गरेको उहाँले बताउनुभयो । वर्षात्को समयमा आकासे पानीको सङ्कलन गरेर खाने गरेको पनि उहाँले बताउनुभयो । बालबालिकाले समेत पढ्न नपाई पानी ओसार्नमै समय खर्चन्छन्,” उहाँले भन्नुभयो । तीन हजार मिटरको उचाइमा रहेको प्यारगारा फूलचाउली गाउँमा पानी अभावले चर्पीको प्रयोग तथा सरसफाइमा समेत कमी देखिन्छ । पानी अभावमा नवआगन्तुकलाई बास बसाउन नै लाज लाग्ने गरेको भक्तबहादुर सार्कीले बताउनुभयो । गाउँमा बनेका चर्पी प्रयोगविहीन छन् । स्थानीय बासिन्दा खोला खोल्सा र जङ्गलमा खुला शौच गर्न बाध्य भएका छन् । जसका कारण स्थानीय बासिन्दा झाडापखाला, आउँ, जुकालगायत रोगबाट पीडित हुने गरेका छन् । जिल्लाका सरकारी र गैरसरकारी निकायले बर्सेनि खानेपानी योजनामा करोडौँ खर्च गर्ने गरे पनि प्यारगारा, फूलचाउलीलगायत बस्ती भने सधैँ काकाकुल छ । रासस -

A protest rally was taken out by the protesters only 100 metres away from the venue of the meeting. The protesters shouted slogans and burnt effigies of the chief minister. The GJM has announced 12-hour bandh against the State government’s move.The GJM has been demanding Nepali as a language instead of Bengali or can accept Hindi, but is strictly against the making of Bengali mandatory in all schools across the state.

Khadga Prasad Sharma Oli more commonly known as K. P. After escaping from jail in 1987, he became a central committee member of UML as an in-charge for Lumbini Zone until 1990. A horse went berserk in Hasanpura area of Rajasthan capital due to intense heat and crashed into a moving car injuring itself and the driver too. Passersby and men from the forest department had a tough time rescuing the animal and the driver from the carA tangawala had tied his horse on the roadside in Hasanpura area. The animal was provided with a packet-full of fodder to eat and relax. However, the food packet somehow blocked the eyesight of the animal which made it all the more furious. Iiked by this and the unbearable heat, the horse broke away from the pole it was tied to. There was panic on the street as people started running to safety from the crazy horse. ललितपुरको सानेपा खरिवोट नजिकै एउटा रातो रंगको ३ तले घर छ । झम्खिखेलबाट जादाँ टेकुतर्फ नगई कुपनडोलतर्फ मोडिदाँ चोकमै सो घर देखिन्छ। सो घरको अगाडि प्रहरीको विटसमेत छ। शुक्रबार साँझ साढे ७ बजेतिर सो घरलाई शादा पोशाक प्रहरीले घेरा हाल्छन्। प्रहरीको एउटा टोली सो घरसँगै जोडिएको अर्को घरको छतहुदैँ भित्र पस्छन्। प्रहरीकै अर्को टोली सोही घरको तल्लो तल्लामा रहेको खाजाघरबाट मास्थिर उक्लिन्छन्। प्रहरीको टोली भित्र पुग्दा दोस्रो र तेस्रो तल्लामा जुवा खेलिरहेका मानिसहरु थिए। मानिसहरुको वीचमा युवती बसेर जुवाँ खेलाइरहेकी थिइन्। एसपी मिरा चौधरीले आफूहरु सिआइबीबाट आएको बताएपछि उनीहरु हच्किन्छन्। -प्रहरीको अर्को टोली तेस्रो तल्लामा पुग्छ। त्यहाँ पनि युवती बीचमा बसेर जुवा खेलाइरहेकी थिइन्। करिअर डिप्लोमेन्ट नामक कार्यालय खोलेर रमेश अग्रवालले त्यहाँ जुवा खेलाएका थिए। अग्रवाल भने त्यहाँ थिएनन्। प्रहरीले जुवा खेलाउने कपिल नागपाल र तारा शर्मा रिजालसहित २४ जनालाई पक्राउ गरेको छ। एसपी चौधरीका अनुसार वीरगंज घर भएका अग्रवालको सोल्टी होटलमा रहेको माजोङ क्यासिनोमा समेत क्यासिनो खेल्न जान्छन्। सिसिटिभी र सुरक्षासहित अग्रवालले सो स्थानमा करिव ३ महिनादेखि जुवा खेलाउँदै आएको एसपी चौधरीले बताइन। सिआइबीको टोलीले उनीहरुको साथबाट ६ लाख रुपैयाँ, १ सय ८६ अमेरिकी डलर र ८ हजार ३ सय ८१ वटा क्वाइन बरामद गरेको छ। पक्राउ पर्नेमा ८ जना युवती पनि छन्। दोस्रो र तेस्रो तल्ला मासिक ७० हजार भाडा लिएर अग्रवालले सो घरमा जुवा खेलाउने गरेका थिए। अग्रवालले ७ जना कर्मचारी र युवती नै राखेर सो स्थानमा जुवा खेलाउँदै आएका थिए। क्यासिनोमा काम गर्ने युवतीहरुलाई अग्रवालले त्यहाँ ल्याएर राख्ने गरेका थिए। अग्रवालले जुवा खेल्नेहरुलाई लिन र पुर्याउनसमेत गाडीको सुविधा दिएका थिए। सो जुवा खालमा म्यारिज २ सय प्वाइन्ट र फरासँ ५ सय प्वाइन्टमा खेल्ने गरेको पक्राउ परेकाहरुले बताएका छन्। एक दिनमा जुवा खेलाउदाँ ५० हजारदेखि १ लाखसम्म नाफा हुने गरेको उनले बताए। सिसिटिभी राखेर उच्च सर्तकताका साथ जुवा खेलाएको लामो समयछि प्रहरीले सो घरमा छापा मारेको हो। एसपी चौधरीले छापा मारिएको जुवा अखडा क्यासिनोभन्दा कम्तिको नभएको बताइन।

एजेन्सी | बिचित्रको संसारमा आज फेरी अर्को बिचित्रको खबर आएको छ | उमेर ढल्किँदै जाँदा बिहे गर्ने एउटा पनि केटा नपाएपछि सहरभरिका केटीहरुले सामूहिक रुपमा केटा पाउँ भन्दै गुहार मागेका छन् । यो ब्राजिलको घटना हो । ब्राजिलको नोइभा डो कोर्डेरियो सहरमा एकजना पनि अविवाहित पुरुष छैनन् । तर ६ सय जना अविवाहित महिला छन् । ती मध्ये अधिकांस ३५ वर्ष मुनिका तरुनी छन् । महिलाले नै भरिएको त्यो सहरमा महिलाकै बोलवाला छ । तर भएर के गर्नु ? पुरुष नपाएर अविवाहित महिला छटपटाउन थालेका छन् । उनीहरुले हालै एक सामूहिक अपिल गरेका छन् अविवाहित केटाहरुलाई आफुसँग सम्बन्ध गाँस्न अनुरोध गर्दै । ब्राजिलको यो सहर मात्र होइन रुसमा पनि हालत यस्तै छ । केटाहरुको संख्या निकै कम छ केटीहरुको भन्दा जसका कारण महिलाहरुले जस्तो पाएपनि केटा खोजेर बिहे गर्नैपर्ने अवस्थामा छन् । अस्ट्रेलियामा पनि पुरुषहरुको खडेरी नै पर्न लागेको त्यहाँको एक अनलाइनले जनाएको छ । भिक्टोरियामा १ सय जना महिलामा केवल ९८ जना मात्र पुरुष छन् । यो त्यतिसारो लैंगिक असन्तुलन त होइन तर यसले पनि दशौँ हजार पुरुषको कमी देखाउँछ । अर्थात् पुरुष भन्दा ६० हजार बढि महिला छन् भिक्टोरियामा । यता चीनमा भने महिलाको खडेरी छ र एकल पुरुषहरुको संख्या बढिरहेको छ । भनिन्छ, भविष्यमा चीनका २५ प्रतिशत पुरुष कि त अविवाहित बस्नुपर्छ कि त जस्तो पाएपनि केटी खोजेर बिहे गर्नुपर्छ ।

दरबार हत्याकाण्ड भएको १६ वर्ष बितिसकेको छ । धेरैले हत्या स्वयम दिपेन्द्रले गरको भनेर लेखे पनि जनताले भने विश्वास गरेकै छैनन । तर यहिबेला मरेका दिपेन्द्र दरबारमार्गमा अचानक देखिएपछि धेरै अचम्मीत बन्नुका साथै वास्तविकता पनि बाहिर आउने आशा राखेका छन ।

Nepal is currently exporting such lenses to 17 countries and the target is to expand the market across 50 countries.” Rs 10.5 million to Pun’s Innovation Centre Similarly, the government has also decided to provide Rs 10.5 million in grant assistance to the National Invention Centre set up by the Ramon Magsaysay Award recipient Dr Mahabir Pun.
